ABOUT ME
I’ve worked to support a number of grassroots NGOs by providing operational and financial management capacity building which have contributed towards managing programme funding and delivering international development objectives, across a range of sectors. These pursuits have been dedicated towards realising a meaningful impact within the development sector and empowering local actors to drive these positive changes. My current aim within my consulting work is to continue supporting local NGOs through means of training, capacity development and knowledge-sharing.

I have over 10 years of experience within finance from both the private and international development sector and have provided remote and/or in-country support to local finance teams located within a range of countries including Sierra Leone, Kenya, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Peru, Guatemala, Tanzania, Uganda, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Somalia. I've also worked on complexed institutional funded programmes including FCDO, EU and UN.

I am a certified project manager (PRINCE 2 CPD practitioner) with a Masters in International Development, a Bachelors in Economics and International Studies. I am FMD Pro certified (Financial Management for Development Professionals), a native English speaker, fluent in Spanish, Creole and have a working knowledge of French.

In my spare time, I’m working towards completion of my chartered management accounting qualification (CIMA) and CMI (Chartered Manager), also to further develop my French language ability.
